The process takes approximately 6 weeks. Your car will stay at our office during that time while we handle all the filings with the DMV and TLC. This is the typical processing window required by those agencies.

No. We handle all the paperwork, filings, and coordination with the TLC and DMV on your behalf. You drop off your car, we take care of everything.

No. You must present the original physical car title at your appointment. Registration alone is not accepted.

$355 per week. This includes the TLC plate access and the TLC liability insurance. No additional fees for those items.

The total deposit is $1,100. You pay $500 when you drop off your car, and $600 when you pick it up after processing.

No. The $355/week rate covers the plate and insurance. Registration and TLC inspection costs are also included — you do not pay separately for those.

The contract is for 13 months. If you want to return the plate before the contract ends, you must give us 6 weeks' notice.

Your car must have 4 doors, be less than 10 years old, and the title must be in your name. Leased or rented vehicles are not eligible.

Yes, as long as the title is in your name. If the title is under another person's name, that person must be present at your appointment.

You must have a valid plate to bring the car to the office. You can obtain a plate at the DMV, and Buggy will process a refund when the car is transferred to TLC.

TLC liability insurance covers passengers in the event of an accident. It does not cover damage to your own vehicle. If you want additional coverage, that is your responsibility to arrange separately.

Yes. The TLC liability insurance is included in your $355/week rate. You do not need to find or purchase it separately.

Your personal insurance policy may not cover commercial rideshare activity. The TLC liability insurance included in the program covers you while operating on Uber or Lyft.

Yes. Once the TLC plate is in place, you can activate your account on Uber, Lyft, and other TLC-approved platforms.

If your account is already approved, we'll use that existing account. You don't need to change branches.

The process is the same. You'll need to return your rental when your own car is ready to be picked up.

Yes. A second driver can be added for $165/week. The second driver must come to the original appointment or schedule their own appointment. The primary renter is responsible for all tickets and tolls.
